time: tent volunteer -415am
run, bike, lap recorder, drinks station, admin tent - 445am
swim, VIP & logistics vehicles Marshal, body marking, crossing point marshal, transition area marshal -500am
first aider, stretcher carrier, VIP tent, manual timing -530am
- can deposit bags
- upon reaching, report to volunteer tent
- collect Accreditation pass, meals (breakfast), drinks, rain coat & all necesary equipment
- leaders will colect lunch for their respective areas of work at 11am
- on saturday (1/8), got 3 categories -> different length of routes for different parts

bike marshals
- direct cyclists at appropriate ways and to stay within traffic cones
- control pedestrians

run marshals
- direct runners on correct run routes
- ask pedestrians to give way to competitors

crossing point marshals
- keep pedestrians off the routes
- control pedestrians
- use whistle to warn pedestrians of the approaching participants
- crossing road 3 -> can only enter with a pass or when with an official

important:
- check wave start table to see if they are in the correct time to start their race
- recognise using swim cap colours, bib numbers -> for different race distances and catergories
- ensure participants take the designated routes
- if got injury, inform the first aiders, keep them off the route (keep them safe)

- certificate of appreciation (receive by mail within 1 month)
- CIP hours -> must complete timesheet in handout for endorsement by volunteer manager, remember to indicate on attendance sheet
- attendance sheet -> must sign in AND sign out, if not counted as never go
- if got media ask questions, dont answer -> ask them to go to media tent
- accreditation pass -> got important contact list, wear at all times

in case got casualties
- stay calm
- keep casualty comfortable and safe
- seek assistance from the nearest medical personnel
- if cannot find, then use contact list -> say location(area), whether casualty is conscious, describe, stay with casualty

- report to leader/ic after everything
- stop only when leader/ic say can stop
